The Wise Hound was founded in Worcester, MA in 2017 then followed its owner to Texas in 2018. We provide professional dog training services that are tailored to meet the specific needs of you and your dog. We specialize in puppy training, basic obedience, advanced off-leash obedience, behavior modification, as well as tricks training. We address all types of behavioral issues such as fearfulness, anxiety, crate nonsense, counter surfing, housebreaking troubles, shyness, chewing/destructive behavior, nipping/mouthing, biting, barking, digging, jumping up, leash pulling, lunging at other dogs/people, dog/human aggression, food/resource guarding, not coming when called, and more. 

We are an in-home facility where no more than a handful of dogs are admitted at a time. This means that your dog will receive significantly more training sessions and personal attention than he/she would at a larger facility, where each trainer often takes on more than a dozen dogs at a time.

 
Since it's an in-home facility, your dog will learn proper house manners that will transfer directly to your home. We also conduct many of our training sessions in public places around other people and dogs. Your dog will be trained on the street, in the park, at pet stores, home improvement stores, outdoor shopping centers, and/or restaurant patios. In other words, our training will simulate real life scenarios.
 

Aside from learning cool new skills, your dog will enjoy structured socialization, interactive play, chew toys, and healthy snacks. Additionally, they will be resting in a safe and comfortable climate-controlled home environment, free from the stress and chaos of a large kennel facility. The Wise Hound is fully insured and is an Associate Member of the International Association of Canine Professionals (IACP).
